I'm super excited about my most recent collaboration, with Coach and their MYNY Poppy campaign. This officially made me realize I'm a New Yorker. I'll always be a Floridian, but I've been living here for more than three years! This feels like home, now more than ever.
I picked the Tyler Moto Jacket because I have been on the hunt for the perfect motorcycle jacket for over a year. Kismet! It's super soft and fits beautifully - and it has a teal lining. I love that I can push the sleeves up, zip it up or wear it open. Naturally, I paired it with an overtly feminine skirt and bows. As much as I want to think I can be Joan Jett, even in a leather jacket I am still a girly girl. But hey, if I can't be Joan, I'm up for playing her love interest in any future videos. Joan, what do you think? Do I have a shot?
Check MYNY to see more photos, interviews and all of the new Poppy products! You can also check it out directly by going to Coach.com, clicking on the "New at Coach" tab and selecting MYNY.

Eleanor: Thank you! Pink Poodle is my favorite pink lipstick - it has a blue undertone and it's so intense! Close second is girl about town (also by MAC). I am dying to check out the new Rouge Coco lipsticks though. I'm a sucker for the ads.
ReplyDeleteplaying hooksies: Thank you! I am a sucker for bows, too:)
ReplyDeleteGabrielle and Raven: Thank you so much!
ReplyDeleteLove everything about this outfit! It's sooo cute <3. And I hope your deceased purse is at peace now... Such a shame, it was a lovely bag!

ReplyDeleteAnimated Confessions
Nicki: Thank you! I plan on using it still. It's a little beat up but it is still my favorite bag! I'm just keeping it locked in the closet until I regain my composure;)
ReplyDeletelibys11: Thanks so much!
you look gorgeous as usual! and i LOVE that bow sash belt thing.
ReplyDeletelove the jacket! i've been searching for one forever, but i can never find one that fits me just right. this outfit doesn't seem 100% like you, i think the bustier is throwing me off haha.
ReplyDeletewhat are you doing for july 4? i'd love to see you/bobby/kim. i just moved so i envision unpacking and organizing a lot this weekend, but i'm hoping to get out and do something fun.
Amanda Lynn: Thank you!
ReplyDeleteHolly: I actually wear the bustier quite a bit, but it always seems to be on a day that I forgot to take out my camera. Although a few of the clasps came undone at a show once and that was a nightmare. haha. Bobby and Kim are both working but my friend Samara and I are planning on doing something. Don't know what yet but we are going to figure that out, and I'd love for you to join us in whatever that may be!
Wow, this an amazing outfit, love it! Great photos and great blog, wow!!!

Congrats on the collab! Look forward to seeing it!
ReplyDeleteGreat combination of the girly and the tough. The leather jacket looks so soft!
that's such a great jacket and it goes so well with the girly skirt and sash.
ReplyDeletei know how you feel about your bag. i have a beautiful turquoise burnished leather Coach bag about the size of yours (got on Black Friday sale, otherwise I could never have afforded it). I about died when at dinner one time, the person sitting across from me knocked over their water towards me and aside from getting my pants wet, it flowed straight onto the bag and it looked like it was going to leave water marks. luckily, it's just a faint line along the top zip that probably no one but me can tell is there. still frustrating though and now i freak out if i'm carrying it and it starts sprinkling outside.
I love the bustier!!!
ReplyDeleteIt´s gorgeous!!
Oh...I finally started showing my face on my blog! Until when? IDK! But, there it is.
Keep in touch!

As in I'm lost for words. I recently (FINALLY) got a sewing machine, so I can start creating my first line. You are my role model and inspire me daily. I really hope I'll get to meet you some day so you can know just how much you inspire and motivate me.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations - you look so beautiful in all of the photos that they used in their campaign. I was delighted to find some new bloggers in scrolling through the rest of the featured girls. I love that you really maintained your own personal style (that femininity we've come to expect of you), but mixed it up with the unexpected moto jacket! You look divine!
