Products used: 1) Urban Decay Primer Potion, 2) Urban Decay Naked2 Palette (I used half baked, snakebite, busted - in that order), 3) Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner in Zero, 4) Make Up For Ever Aqua Smoky Lash 5) MAC Kissable Lip Color in So Vain
My friend Christine recently got the Urban Decay Naked2 Palette, and asked me to show her an easy, smokey eye she could replicate with those shadows. Due to the array of neutrals in different finishes and its portable nature, this palette is perfect for a smokey eye on the go (and so is its predecessor). The best part is that you can achieve this look with only one brush, if you want - just use a clean finger to blend the edges and get that diffused look. Or, even better - use the brush provided, which has a shadow side and a blending side.
There are so many ways to do a smokey eye - and so many color options. For this look, I went from the base up, starting with the lightest color and gradually building with darker hues toward the lashline. The result? A sultry look that makes her blue-green eyes pop. For step by step instructions, keep reading after the jump.

ReplyDeleteI have such a problem with eyeliner... I feel like I can't apply it correctly. It either looks too bold but not in a good way or smeared all over. I love seeing makeup tutorials but never know to get the eyeliner they have applied to look that way on my own eye. Do I blend after I apply or what?? I need help!!!!
