Bicycle Darling

Outfit Details:
J.Crew Horse Sweatshirt
Alice and Olivia dress - c/o Americana Manhasset
vintage hat
Illesteva x Zac Posen cat eye sunglasses
bag c/o Coach
Madewell sidewalk skimmers
vintage collar (gift from my mom)
Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in "Beso"
and I was wearing shorts underneath the dress, don't worry:)

It's hard to believe that Governors Island is just a quick ferry ride away. It's my favorite weekend summer destination, in the city (it's only open on the weekends). It's the perfect place to havea day away from the hustle and bustle and crazy traffic jams, without having to go very far. They always have different events (like the Jazz Age Lawn Party), but it's also nice to just rent a bike and ride around the island. Right now they have Fête Paradiso, a vintage carnival featuring rides from the late 19th and 20th century that are both beautiful and creepy. It's definitely worth checking out, so make sure to get to the island before September 29th, when it closes for the season!

  21. Ahh, I wish I was taught to ride a bike at a young age. It's not very womanly to fall off your bike and get bruises when you start learning in your adulthood! Lovely and oh so put together outfit!
